The Mission

SOMA TREE is a non-profit seeks to restore our declining tree canopy in Maplewood and South Orange, NJ, while engaging the community in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way.  People and trees are deeply connected, and we seek to mend that connection for the benefit of society and the planet. We follow science-based practices to select, purchase, and help plant the trees within our community.
